Precision aneroid barometers are used for measuring the absolute atmospheric pressure. The self-stable set of five aneroid capsules used in our precision aneroid barometers is made of a corrosion-proof copper-beryllium-alloy. This alloy has been used for measuring the atmospheric pressure for many years because of its remarkable elastic properties.

  • Aneroid Capsules: Resistant to age-hardening, hysteresis, and elastic after-effects.
  • Temperature Compensation: Bimetal compensation across the full measuring range.
  • Operates reliably in temperatures from -30 to +40 °C (-22 to 104 °F).
  • Precision Mechanism: Motion is transmitted via a finely finished segment and wheel system.
  • All bearings feature an exceptionally fine finish.
  • Optimised Performance: Minimal idle friction due to the carefully designed levers and bearings.
