A signature is required on delivery for nearly all of our parcels so please provide an address where someone can sign for your goods. Sometimes we send your order in more than one delivery due to stock availability. If this is the case, you will only be charged for shipping once, unless you have requested a split shipment at your own expense.
Which Courier?
Our outgoing parcels are sorted by size and weight. Smaller parcels will be shipped via Royal Mail; while large or heavy parcels will be handled by DPD or similar courier. Items that are extremely heavy or fragile are subject to a premium delivery charge which is displayed at checkout. Please ensure someone is in to sign for your delivery.
Standard Delivery - UK Only
Our Standard Delivery option for orders weighing less then 2kg is Royal Mail 1st Class. Your order should normally arrive within 1-2 working days; however please allow up to 10 working days in case of any postal delays. We'll send you an email to let your know your goods are on their way if you have provided your email address. Shipping costs and the courier will depend on the size of your item. If you have not received your items within 10 working days - drop us an email or give us a call.
Channel Islands
Please note, for delivery to the Channel Islands you will need to select 'Jersey' or 'Guernsey' as the country on your delivery address and not 'United Kingdom' during checkout. This ensures you pay the correct shipping fee and are not charged VAT. If you select 'United Kingdom', we will have to cancel your order and you will need to re-order. In the unlikely event that an order is dispatched to the Channel Islands placed with 'United Kingdom' as the country, we are not able to refund VAT charged.
Overseas Delivery - Europe & Rest of the World
If you require your goods sent overseas please contact a member of the Russell Scientific sales team for a shipping quote. This option is not currently available on our website. Deliveries are sent via International Royal Mail or an international courier. There may be local import duties to be paid on receipt of your goods that Russell Scientific are not liable for. Please note, international deliveries may be held at customs for payment by your local government. We cannot accept liability for items that are not paid for or that are not collected. Delivery to EU countries may take up to 15 days. Delivery to any other country may take up to 21 working days.
