A thermograph records ambient temperature on a paper chart affixed to a rotating drum. This model is powered by an electronic quartz clock. The AA 1.5V batteries will power the instrument for up to 12 months. The recording drum can be set to record a daily, weekly or monthly cycle. The bimetal measuring element is protected from mechanical damage by the scratch-proof, transparent plastic hinged case. A mechanical clock is available as an alternative.
